SdDUP is participating in Debate Changing Europe, a project coordinated by IDEA Netherlands, with German Verband der Debattierclubs an HochschulenDutch Nederlandse DebatbondDebattierklub Wien and Stocholm School of Economics Debating Society as partners. This project aims an European discussion and debates on the EU and the dilemmas it now faces. Each of the partner entities is promoting public and competitive debates, from which each entity will select the national representatives on the European final event, taking place in June in Maastricht, with a discussion on employment and training with lobbying experts.

As coordinator of the project in Portugal, SdDUP is cooperating with the other 5 university debate clubs a number of local preliminary rounds, from which the participants of the final tournament, in Porto, will be selected.

Final event
May 3rd and 4th

In each event of the preliminary rounds the 2 teams with better results will be invited for the final event. From Minho Open, there will be 4 teams selected, 2 from the University of Minho.

The final event will consist of a tournament with 12 teams, with 2 rounds to select the finalists.

This project is funded by IDEA and Youth in Action.
